Gibson General Hospital implements Provider-by-Phone service

In an effort to further protect patients and staff from the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), Gibson General Hospital has implemented telehealth office visits in select provider offices.
 
With its new Provider-by-Phone service, established patients of Dr. Bruce Brink, Dr. Adrian Carter, Dr. Michael Clark, Dr. Gregory McCord, Dr. William Wells, Tabitha Newman, FNP-C, and Curtis Earnest, FNP-C, can schedule telehealth telephone visits and speak to their provider without ever stepping foot in the office.

“As we look for new ways to ensure that our community has access to the high quality health care they need, we felt that the current climate provided a great opportunity to introduce this telehealth option to reduce person-to-person contact for our patients and providers,” said Claudia Eisenmann, President & CEO of Gibson General Hospital. “This is going to be a great fit for those patients needing diagnosis and treatment for minor illnesses, but who want to mitigate their risk of exposure to COVID-19.”

Eisenmann made sure to add that not all appointments can be done by phone, and it may be recommended that you be seen in the office.
